Sandra Thibault comes from a professional dance and singing background and now runs the natural voice choir Harmonise in Chandlers Ford and the Singing for Wellbeing for people with dementia in Winchester and leads Singing for the Brain for the Alzheimer’s Society. Sandra also leads creative dance for people with physical and learning disabilities and is a co-founder of Sense4Sense, taking arts, music and dance into day-care centres in Hampshire.
Jackie Shipster was born and educated in South Africa. Much travelled, she has a background in theatre, music teaching and writing. Jackie has a BA in Music from UCT; a diploma in Music Librarianship; piano- teaching LRSM and post-graduate diploma from the Drama Studio, London. Now in Winchester, she has taught piano and worked towards the restoration of the Theatre Royal. She is currently working with Arts and Wellbeing and the MRI, as singing assistant to Sandra Thibault for the Singing for Wellbeing sessions.
